Large-format hand-colored etching by Austrian artist Luigi Kasimir, depicting the city of Salzburg, Austria along the Salzach River. This work shows Salzburg from an elevated vantage point, with the river running through the city and the historic architecture framed by trees and surrounding mountains.

Kasimir was internationally recognized for his architectural and cityscape etchings, and this piece exemplifies his mature style. The composition is detailed and balanced, with confident etched linework and carefully applied hand coloring. Color is used selectively to emphasize depth and structure rather than decoration.
